Something brightened my day today.
Like this carefully crafted ceramic worm to label your herbs and garden plants. This is probably the only worm I’m willing to see in my own window garden.
It’s amazing how much inspiring works of art are available today all over the world. How easy it is today with the internet to discover inspiring pieces conceived by gifted individuals from all walks of life.
Such quirky tableware can add life to any home and definitely a large dose of fun to everyday dining, with a little white bird perched on the rim to greet you every morning.
Rustic, organic and beautifully imperfect, karoArt is a treasure trove of hand-made ceramic tableware, wall art and jewelry from Dublin, Ireland.
Meet Karo — the woman behind karoArt‘s statement bowls and bold-colored pottery. It all began one Christmas when she discovered two bags of clay under the Christmas tree.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
Somewhere in between, however, she finished with a BA in English.
Her eco-friendly vision is deeply etched in the grooves and strokes of every item hand-built lovingly in her studio, all packaged using recycled materials. As she doesn’t use any kind of mold in the process, no two items are identical, making each work of art one-of-a-kind.
Do visit her shop and spread some whimsy in your home today
