Fork It Over | Recycled Art For Foodies

Art  typically refers to the ability to make something beautiful out of something new.

But I honestly think it takes a different kind of genius to see the beauty out of something old — and turn it into something new.

As a foodie, the sculpted metalwork by Jeremy and Jennifer Evensen immediately caught my eye….

Keychains with attitude

because they turn simple household items — like forks and spoons — into something quirky,

Peace hooks

something with personality,

Rockin' bangle

and downright functional.

I truly enjoy the concept of sustainability behind  JJEvensen Art.

Smile! My favorite hooks so far :)

The idea of recycling everyday items to give it a new purpose

and new form is something I respect, appreciate and admire in innovative artists such as Jeremy and Jennifer.

“We live in beautiful Door County Wisconsin with our two boys at the ages of 9 and 5. Working out of our home we go to the local farmers market here in Sturgeon Bay every Saturday during the summer. Our commute is minimal which reduces consumption of natural resources and we try our best to re-use unused objects and make them functional again. The arts and tourism is abundant in our area which influences us greatly. Thank you for everyone’s support and making our dream a REALITY!” — Jeremy and Jen
