Because my sister-in-law asked, we baked this week: oatmeal bars with chocolate fudge.
She requested to put extra fudge — and so we did.
So happy she’s here and she gets to eat what I bake (she can easily wolf down two pieces of a 2x2in slice). Unless it’s bread, I never eat what I bake as I have poor tolerance for sweets.
Too bad I don’t really know my neighbors because it would be nice to have volunteers to help out

Gosh that looks delicious!
Thanks for dropping in, Salsachica! There were two lonely slices that were left for days but it actually stayed moist.
Oh those poor unconsumed slices!
I really enjoyed reading your blog!
Oh wow, thank you so much
All the best to a creative journey and all your food adventures!
Thanks! And may your collection of sea salt grow and grow
Yummy!
Because you bring a smile to my face with your posts and writing. I have nominated you for the Sunshine Award. All the details can be found here –> http://obscureddreamer.wordpress.com/2012/04/07/good-day-sunshine-sunshine-award/
Oh, those look good! But I’m with you and don’t have a tolerance for sweets either. I have kids and grandkids who are more than happy to help out.
Thanks, Suzie! We must find a way to bridge Alaska and Singapore a bit closer for this reason
Oh, I love this stuff! It’s almost midnight and you have me drooling!
Kinda like comfort food, no? You want me to courier you a slice? Hehe. I’ve adjusted the required sugar so it’s not too sweet :p
Yes! Courier me a BOX
