I’ve always been a firm believer of seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary and most mundane of things. Armed with only a point-and-shoot Canon S100, it’s still-images like this that leave me mesmerized — if not slightly teary-eyed.

If there is one thing I am grateful for, it is this majestic view of the sea and the city we are blessed with this side of the world.
It’s like having a live version of Discovery channel unfold right outside the window — without replays, without reruns and no two ever alike.

Well now that you mention it…I realize that the colors lately are deeper. Could it be that it’s summer? I don’t remember seeing the sun this way at other times of the year, I think?
