The Tranquil Streets Of Gion | Kyoto’s Geisha District

Here is another colorful rendering of what used to be a pixelized and dull photo taken in the tranquil cobblestone streets of  Gion.  The past couple of days have been an adventure on the different buttons of Photoshop.

Instead of fixing flawed pictures to make it look like a good photo, I completely altered the whole file as artfully as possible to make it look like an artwork.  I’ve begun with some colorful renderings of travel shots from New York City, Singapore and other parts of Japan.

:)

    • Thanks for posting this! Most of the time, I’m absolutely clueless when tinkering with Photoshop. The results are usually wonderful mistakes that end up looking artful :)
