Does this ever happen to you, while poring through photos and you see something that makes you say, “Where was this?
Well this is one of those pictures. I do remember going to a dungeon-like, very dimly-lit, brick-walled bar somewhere in the East.
And we had good wine.
I guess that’s all that matters.
UPDATE: Thanks for helping out with the info, Remcy! Okay, so now I know where we were. This was in Jadis on Rivington Street.
At first I thought it might be Spitzer’s Corner, but I think it’s “bricks” are made from wood and I don’t recall any windows
