Happy birthday, Dr. Jose Rizal!
So I’m posting this a day late (but I did put this up on my Facebook yesterday 
As a tribute to our country’s national hero, Jose Rizal, thought I’d make a little caricature in honor of his birthday.

I had never heard of this great man before! He accomplished a lot in his life…and apparently was fluent in 22 languages? Glad to have received this history lesson for today!
Thanks for dropping in! His documented personal life was just as fascinating as his contributions as a doctor and a writer (for which he was executed). It’s actually a fun read if you can get hold of the English version of “Noli Me Tangere” by Penguin books.
