Even if there is only three of us in the house, our place was buzzing with activity all week — a birthday dinner, a cozy barbecue get-together and some preps leading to the weekend. Last Saturday, our little kitchen produced 6 dozen cookies (sugar cookies and oatmeal cookies!), a moist chocolate cake with custard, two tubs of stove-top olive-oil popcorn and two tubs of pancit puti (white stir-fry noodles)
I’m proud to say I took nothing home except a sticky cake box and some crumbs on a cookie pan. The fact that my hands were constantly covered with melted chocolate and butter means absolutely no pictures to document my weekend kitchen escapades.
However, here is an image of something I have not made in many, many years. To commemorate my hubby’s birthday, I thought I’d draw him a piece of his favorite home, New York City, and make it into an old-fashioned pop-up card.

That card is amazing. What talent you have.
Thanks so much for visiting my post and following.
You’re welcome
Glad to have stumbled upon your blog!
Love it!
Thanks so much! Gee, I didn’t notice there were even comments here until now
Those pop-up cards are a delight!
Thanks, Susan
Shame there aren’t any photos of the cookies but probably for the best. Love that card – going into professional production?
Thanks for the vote of confidence! I started toying with the idea today, actually as it seems to be the choice question today. Got asked four times, one was the hubby (actually, his wasn’t really a question) :p IF I can get my act together, I just might be on etsy.com one of these days
