A Bit Of Nostalgia | Red Telephone Art Notecards

This was how a former teacher described my work the other day.  I never saw it that way but I guess I am, in many ways, stuck in time.  Yes, I do miss a phone that rings like a bell (got my iPhone to do that) instead of a digital tone or some choice music.

My family used to keep a pen by the phone not just for writing messages but to use for dialing to prevent nails from breaking (or ruining a fresh manicure) :) I think most of us are missing out by not having a classic telephone because heated conversations are more peaceful now since we can no longer “bang the phone” in anger (heehee!)

And to throw a phone in a fit of rage will be extremely costly, so that’s that.  Though  I am pretty sure that I once threw a cordless phone in a pile of pillows only for it to bounce to the floor — it’s not the same   :)
