Something funky is going on with WordPress — it’s distorting the green in all my artwork! This image looks much nicer and subtle in the store.
For two years, I breathed crisp mountain air. Roads were narrow and steep, and the breeze laced with the fragrance of pine. Fog set it early in the evening, like a blanket preparing the city for slumber. Old houses with chimneys perched on hilly streets. I looked at this everyday while watching the sun shy away from the copper sky.
This oil pastel artwork was part of the batch of paintings for my very first exhibit back in 2003. It never made it to the show because a friend saw it drying on the floor and refused to leave the house without the procuring the painting for herself.
