“AROUND THE WORLD”  is a  commissioned work that directly reflects and illustrates Cherie Altea’s creative process and personal journey within from living in Singapore. The little boat and that delicious shade of yellow is a tribute to a serious art collector who is always moving and never stays put in one place for too long.

This golden lady belongs to a continuing body of work revealed during the sold-out opening at the first solo exhibit last April 2017.

The artist pays tribute to the woman who blooms wherever life takes her, the story she carries, and the culture that makes her heart sing.
