My 2019 began with a story of curveballs that resulted in a silent, dusty, idle and very empty studio. But I am finally back.

And a little bit louder and messier this time around.

The last time I was at the easel was last March. After a lot of nothing comes a deluge of colourful somethings in a new body of work. As of June, my studio was still devoid of new works. As of this weekend, October 6, 2019, I finished these last minute artworks right on schedule for the Oct 10 group show.

The artist pays tribute to the woman who blooms wherever life takes her, the story she carries, and the culture that makes her heart sing. the pink in honor of those journeying through and those who live to tell their cancer story in the past tense.

Also, a Jones makes a cameo.
